Northrop Grumman Technical Services - Training & Simulation Capabilities

Origins — Seven Sectors into One

The Technical Services sector of Northrop Grumman Corporation was created to be the center of excellence for leadership thought and service support innovation.

Key logistics, maintenance, and technical services core competencies from seven Northrop Grumman Corporation sectors were consolidated along functional lines in Technical Services to provide our customers world-class support and superior performance.

Technical Services traces its heritage to these Northrop Grumman business units:

  • Technical Services Corporation provides specialized technical and logistics services. The Defense Department, Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Tobyhanna Army Depot, and the U.S. Postal Service are just a few of it’s key customers.

  • Space Technology and Services is a recognized leader in pioneering design and support services for space-based flight electronics and applications. STS provides the engineers, technicians and administrators necessary to support NASA as their primary client.

  • Defense Enterprise Solutions operates three major logistics centers for the U.S. Air Force, employing hundreds of men and women who support the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the U.S. Air Force Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

  • The Federal Enterprise Solutions division specializes in training, maintenance, and support for homeland security and other government programs.

  • Field Support Services, Inc. is dedicated to providing aircraft maintenance and modification, engineering, technical training, logistics, and manufacturing for the U.S. Naval Air Forces at more than 30 locations around the globe.

  • Technical Services, Inc. and the Space Gateway Joint Venture is renowned for its full life-cycle solutions that support Northrop Grumman products and business portfolios. With a staff of several thousand employees at more than 25 locations worldwide, customers include the U.S. Air Force and NASA.

  • Enterprise Management Services has employees in all 50 states, three U.S. territories, and multiple international locations. It specializes in facilities and vehicle operation and maintenance (O&M), military training, and biometrics collection.
