As President of Northrop Grumman’s Technical Services (NGTS) sector, Mr. James L. Cameron is responsible for all Sector initiatives to include leveraging existing business strengths and synergies in the rapidly expanding logistics support, sustainment and technical services markets.

Mr. Cameron also serves as Chairman of the Board on several domestic and international Joint Venture Companies including the Nevada Test Site, our Nation’s largest nuclear testing facility involving more than 3,000 employees and five remote sites.

His background includes demonstrated knowledge, superior performance, and hands-on experience in both product development as well as in sustainment and modernization.

The Technical Services sector enables Northrop Grumman to deliver more integrated product and life-cycle solutions, and dramatically expanded capabilities to our customers.

Headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area, Northrop Grumman Technical Services numbers approximately 20,000 professionals and operates in all 50 States and 29 countries around the world. NGTS provides world class base operations, infrastructure, training and performance based logistical support to the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, NASA and our valued allies around the world.

Mr. Cameron has held previous leadership positions within Northrop Grumman, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of the Defensive and Navigation Systems Divisions (DSD / NSD) of Northrop Grumman's Electronic Systems sector. These Divisions produced combined revenues well in excess of $2 billion in 2005.

DSD is a global leader in defense electronics, specializing in electronic warfare, electro-optical situational awareness and self-protection, electro-optical targeting, laser systems, and test systems. The organization is composed of approximately 4,000 employees based in multiple locations around the United States.

NSD provides situational awareness, navigation and positioning systems and products for defense markets. The organization is composed of approximately 3,700 employees based in locations around the United States and Europe.

Mr. Cameron joined Northrop Grumman as Sector Vice President and General Manager of Defensive Systems Division in 2003, after holding several executive positions at ITT Industries. He served as the President and General Manager of ITT’s Systems Defense Group, a 6,000-employee business with products and services in 41 countries and 20 states.

Before joining ITT, Mr. Cameron held positions with Lockheed Martin, Litton Industries, and the Pentagon Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Mr. Cameron received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from the University of Southern California in National Security Administration. He also is an industry graduate of the Defense Systems Management Program Manager’s course.
