NSROC Supports History-Breaking Launches
November 6, 2007 — At the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), Barking Sands, Kauai, Hawaii, two ARAV-A (Aegis Readiness Assessment Vehicles - Class A) were successfully launched at approximately 1820 LT. The ARAV-A10 and A13 missions performed within defined requirements and were successfully engaged and intercepted by the USS Lake Erie, which was stationed off the coast of Kauai. Read More

October. 4, 2007 — The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), an agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), has selected a team that includes Northrop Grumman to provide large operations management services at the USCIS California and Vermont service centers. October. 3, 2007 — The U.S. Army has awarded Northrop Grumman a $331 million cost plus award fee contract to provide logistical support services to the National Training Center and Fort Irwin, Calif., for annual programmed training, multiple joint services training exercises and unprogrammed support requirements. August 6, 2007 — The U.S. Army's Northern Region Contracting Center has awarded Northrop Grumman the Unit Training Support (UTS) contract to provide integrated training solutions to warfighters at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. The $37 million contract covers a base year and four option years. Five separately managed U.S. Army training contracts were brought together under the UTS contract: Battle Command and Battle Staff Training and Integration Support; Battle Staff Mobile Training Team; Home Station Training Master Plan Support; Army Digital Training Strategy Support; and Army Collective Task Management Support. Northrop Grumman Awarded Navy Aircraft Maintenance and Modification Contract
July 12, 2007 — The U.S. Navy's Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Va., has awarded Northrop Grumman a contract to provide maintenance, modification, and upgrade work for E-2C and C-2A aircraft under the Naval Air Forces Atlantic Fleet program. The $32 million contract value covers a base year and four option years. Northrop Grumman has provided aircraft support services to the Navy in the Norfolk area for the past 35 years, since the introduction of the E-2C Hawkeye. Read More

June 21, 2007 — Northrop Grumman's Hunter Unmanned Aircraft
System (UAS), in use with the U.S. Army since 1996, recently surpassed
50,000 flight hours in service, over half of which were flown in
combat. Northrop Grumman-operated Hunter MQ-5A and Army-operated MQ-5B
models are currently deployed in the Global War on Terrorism. Hunter
provides warfighters with state-of-the-art reconnaissance,
surveillance, target acquisition (RSTA), communications relay, and

Northrop Grumman Part of Contractor Team Chosen for Air Force Award
June 11, 2007 — The U.S. Air Force has selected a team that includes Northrop Grumman to provide engineering and technical services for the Tinker Advisory Assistance Services Contract (TAASC). The five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract has an initial value of $25 million to Northrop Grumman. The company is subcontractor to Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) Aviation, LLC of Ada, Okla., for the work. May 14, 2007 — The U.S. Air Force has selected a team led by Northrop Grumman to provide sustaining engineering services for the management of technical data at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Under the contract, Northrop Grumman's Technical Services sector will lead the team in digitizing technical orders and manuals, performing data mining and validation, and sustaining the Air Force's Central Technical Order Repository, an integrated technical data environment that provides for easy access and retrieval. May 14, 2007 — The U.S. Army's Communications-Electronics Command has selected Northrop Grumman to provide identity management and personnel data collection services to the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). DMDC is responsible for the management of personnel data for active and retired U.S. military and their families. Under the $51 million contract, Northrop Grumman is providing project management, research and analysis to ensure data integrity used for practices such as benefits administration, and personnel and readiness decision-making. Northrop Grumman Awarded Contract for Global Training of Peacekeeping Forces
May 8, 2007 — The U.S. Department of State has selected Northrop Grumman as one of three lead contractors for the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI). The company will provide training to militaries and peacekeeping forces worldwide as one of three companies awarded indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts. The GPOI contracts have a potential value of $200 million, collectively, over five years. Northrop Grumman Awarded Air Force Modernization and Engineering Services Contract
April 11, 2007 — The U.S. Air Force has awarded Northrop Grumman a contract to provide technical services for the C-5 Galaxy's Avionics Modernization Program and the Reliability Engineering and Re-engining Program. The five-year contract has a base year with four one-year options. Under the $10 million contract, Northrop Grumman will provide acquisition and engineering analysis management process support, logistics/sustainment technical services, and test planning. Video Release -- Northrop Grumman's Hunter-Viper Strike Team Completes Successful Missile Range Tests
Feb. 28, 2007 — Northrop Grumman's Hunter-Viper Strike weapon system successfully destroyed a series of moving and stationary targets in testing at the White Sands Missile Range in January. The Viper Strike weapons were guided to their targets by the Hunter unmanned aerial vehicle's (UAV) laser targeting system. The weapons tests were conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office (PEO) for Aviation and the PEO for Missiles and Space. Read More
